1. Illegal use: Pack Web Hosting's services may not be used for illegal purposes, or in support of illegal activities. Pack Web Hosting reserves the right to cooperate with legal authorities and/or injured third parties in the investigation of any suspected crime or civil wrongdoing.
  2. Harm to minors: Use of the Pack Web Hosting service to harm, or attempt to harm, minors in any way, including, but not limited to child pornography.
  3. Threats: Use of the Pack Web Hosting service to transmit any material (by e-mail, uploading, posting or otherwise) that threatens or encourages bodily harm or destruction of property.
  4. Harassment: Use of the Pack Web Hosting service to transmit any material (by e-mail, uploading, posting or otherwise) that harasses another.
  5. Fraudulent activity: Use of Pack Web Hosting service to make fraudulent offers to sell or buy products, items, or services, or to advance any type of financial scam such as "pyramid schemes," "ponzi schemes," and "chain letters."
  6. Forgery or impersonation: Adding, removing or modifying identifying network header information in an effort to deceive or mislead is prohibited. Attempting to impersonate any person by using forged headers or other identifying infrmation is prohibited. The use of anonymous remailers or nicknames does not constitute impersonation.
  7. Unsolicited commercial e-mail / Unsolicited bulk e-mail (SPAM) Use of the Pack Web Hosting service to transmit any unsolicited commercial or unsolicited bulk e-mail is expressly prohibited. Violations of this type will result in the immediate termination of the offending Pack Web Hosting account.
  8. E-mail / News Bombing: Malicious intent to impede another person's use of electronic mail services or news will result in the immediate termination of the offending Pack Web Hosting account.
  9. E-mail / Message Forging: Forging any message header, in part or whole, of any electronic transmission, originating or passing through the Pack Web Hosting service is in violation of this AUP.
  10. Usenet SPAMing: Pack Web Hosting has a zero tolerance policy for the use of its network for the posting of messages or commercial advertisements, which violate the rules, regulations, FAQ or charter of any newsgroups or mailing list. Commercial messages that are appropriate under the rules of a newsgroup or mailing list or that are solicited by the recipients are permitted.
  11. Unauthorized access: Use of the Pack Web Hosting service to access, or to attempt to access, the accounts of others, or to penetrate, or attempt to penetrate, security measures of Pack Web Hosting's or another entity's computer software or hardware, electronic communications system, or telecommunications system, whether or not the intrusion results in the corruption or loss of data, is expressly prohibited and the offending Pack Web Hosting account is subject to immediate termination.
  12. Copyright or trademark infringement: Use of the Pack Web Hosting service to transmit any material (by e-mail, uploading, posting or otherwise) that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other proprietary rights of any third party, including, but not limited to, the unauthorized copying of copyrighted material, the digitization and distribution of photographs from magazines, books, or other copyrighted sources, and the unauthorized transmittal of copyrighted software.
  13. Collection of personal data: Use of the Pack Web Hosting service to collect, or attempt to collect, personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent.
  14. Network disruptions and unfriendly activity: Use of the Pack Web Hosting service for any activity which affects the ability of other people or systems to use Pack Web Hosting Services or the Internet. This includes "denial of service" (DOS) attacks against another network host or individual user. Interference with or disruption of other network users, services or equipment is prohibited. It is the Member's responsibility to ensure that their network is configured in a secure manner. A Subscriber may not, through action or inaction, allow others to use their network for illegal or inappropriate actions. A Subscriber may not permit their network, through action or inaction, to be configured in such a way that gives a third party the capability to use their network in an illegal or inappropriate manner. Unauthorized entry and/or use of another company and/or individual's computer system will result in immediate account termination. Pack Web Hosting will not tolerate any subscriber attempting to access the accounts of others, or penetrate security measures of other systems, whether or not the intrusion results in corruption or loss of data.
  15. Fraud: Involves a knowing misrepresentation or misleading statement, writing or activity made with the intent that the person receiving it will act upon it.
  16. Infringement of Copyright, Patent, Trademark, Trade Secret, or Intellectual Property Right: Distribution and/or posting of copyrighted or the aforementioned infringements will not be tolerated.Distribution of Viruses: Intentional distributions of software that attempts to and/or causes damage, harassment, or annoyance to persons, data, and/or computer systems are prohibited. Such an offense will result in the immediate termination of the offending account.

  18. Inappropriate Use of Software: Use of software or any device that would facilitate a continued connection, i.e. pinging, while using Pack Web Hosting services could result in suspension service.
  19. Third Party Accountability: Pack Web Hosting subscribers will be held responsible and accountable for any activity by third parties, using their account, that violates guidelines created within the Acceptable Use Policy.
  20. Any website/any process concerned, if it causes extreme load or performance loss for any reason, can be terminated or suspended without refund and without notice.
  21. We reserve the right to take coercive actions to any extent w.r.t. any account(s) on which in-coming DDOS (distributed denial of service) or DOS (denial of service) attack is taking place or has taken place. This kind of coercive action would very likely result in disruption of access to that account. In extreme case the concerned account(s) can be terminated or suspended without refund and without notice.
  22. Mass mailing, even if perceived not to be Spam is not allowed. More than 500 mails a day, constitute mass email. An account violating it can be terminated or suspended without refund and without notice.
  23. Unsolicited email/Spam (even a single email), not limited to invites, promotions etc., constitutes policy violation. We have zero tolerance for Spam. An account violating it can be terminated or suspended without refund and without notice.
  24. Spamvertised emailing, initiated from our network or any other network, which means that a link to a webpage/website/URL hosted on our network, sent/linked in an email that is reported as spam, constitutes policy violation by the account holder of that webpage/website/URL, and is treated as spam. We have zero tolerance for Spam. An account violating it can be terminated or suspended without refund and without notice.
  25. Users cannot user 25% or more of CPU resources in a stretch of 90 seconds. Activities that can cause such problems are: MySQL Usage, CGI scripts, FTP, PHP, HTTP, etc.
  26. Stand-alone/unattended server-side processes cannot be run at any point on the server. This includes any and all daemons.
  27. No web spider or indexer services can be run. Spiders may access our servers
  28. File-Sharing and Peer to Peer activities are not allowed
  29. Gaming servers are not allowed
  30. Cron entries with intervals less than 15 minutes are not allowed. Also more than 3 simultaneous cronjobs are not allowed.
  31. Any content posted online by you, the Webmaster/Website Owner or your visitors, should conform to the laws of India and United States.
  32. The total cumulative size of Client owned (proof has to be there) Media files like mp3/mp4/avi/flv/wav etc. cannot exceed 500MB
  33. On all Linux Web Hosting Plans, the I-Node Limit (Files+Directories count) cannot exceed 150000 except on ProX-Enterprise Plan where the limit applicable would be 300000
  34. cPanel backup files like back-* or cpmove-* will be removed automatically by the system. Also zip, tgz, bz2. rar files etc. can be removed with or without notice.
  35. Any content in public_html folder of an account, can be synced/transferred to a Content Distribution Network server without owner's permission or without informing the owner about the same. To use the same entries may be placed in the folder's .htaccess file to reflect to a static content sub-domain/domain. DNS entries may also be added/modified for the same purpose. This action will also circumvent and folder level permissions set on the content via .htaccess or other means. This is necessitated to increase performance of our servers.
  36. Entries in .htaccess can be edited/removed or new .htaccess put in place with or without notice depending of the server's status
